2016 Japan Boat Show: Yanmar displays Boat Of The Year winner EX38A

Yanmar is holding a display at the 2016 Japan International Boat Show from March 3 to 6. The show is Japan’s largest boat show and is held at Pacifico Yokohama and other locations.

At the show, Yanmar will display the 2015 Japan Boat Of The Year award-winning EX38A and the EX30B, which is designed in the image of a Northern European troller-type fishing boat and has an electric engine. Both boats are designed to be comfortable and can be used for fishing.

The company is also displaying the 6CXB-GT marine engine that the EX38A uses. Designed with the concept “kind to the earth,” it offers good fuel economy and high output.

In addition, it is displaying samples for the first time in Japan of its compact and easy-to-use marine power generators and light, high-output marine engines as a way of introducing its next-generation technology.

It is also bringing the steering wheel of the yacht used by its official technical partner the Oracle Team U.S.A. sailing team to win twice in the 2013 America’s Cup.
