New NSX to appear at Suzuka Circuit for Fan Thanks Day

2016 Suzuka Fan Thanks Day: New NSX to make its first race at Suzuka against the Civic Type R and S660

The new Honda NSX, which has started sales in North America, will appear at the 2016 Suzuka Circuit Motorsports Fan Thanks Day at Suzuka Circuit at March 12 and 13.

It made its first appearance for the Acura brand at North American auto shows in 2015. It garnered a great deal of attention at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show. It ran for the first time in front of fans at the Honda Racing Thanks Day held at Twin Ring Motegi in December.

There will be a Honda sports car showdown at the race with the new NSX, the new Civic Type R, the S660 and CR-Z. Since engine capacity and power differs between the models, the race will have a time handicap.

Of course, the NSX, which has the highest racing performance, will start in the last position. People all over the world are eagerly anticipating seeing how Honda’s new flagship sports car will perform in this race when the pressure is on.

Currently, planning regarding drivers and handicaps is underway. The race will be held on both days, March 12 and 13, of the Thanks Day.
