At the two-day 2015 Motor Sports Japan Festival In Odaiba, which drew around 97,000 attendees, Subaru displayed the eye-catching BRZ tS Concept in Sunrise Yellow at its booth.

This model, which was developed by Subaru Tecnica International, made its debut at the 2015 Osaka Auto Messe February 13 to 15. Since Subaru didn’t display it at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon in January, this was the first chance for people in the Kanto Region to get a close look at it.

Although now just a concept car, it’s equipped with a flexible tower bar and flexible draw stiffener for the underbody, and has a Bilstein-made bumper, giving it a luxury feel and a sturdy but flexible drive.

Like its base model, the engine has an STI sport muffler and special tS tuning VDC. For the drive line, the diameter is expanded 4mm and rigidity is improved through a large-sized drive shift.

Parts for the exterior such as the front under spoiler and rear spoiler are all done in black, and the interior is equipped with special tS Recaro-made bucket seats with built-in side air bags. Using mostly Alcantara for material, the side supports use red leather.

The meters are also specially designed and use Alcantara for the meter hood. Instrument panel features such as the steering wheel have red accents.
