On February 13, Honda announced its motorsports program for 2015.
In MotoGP, Honda factory team Repsol Honda aims to win the three titles for third season running with Marc MÃ¡rquez, champion for the last two consecutive years, and Dani Pedrosa, 4th placer last season.
Team HRC will once again compete as the Honda factory team in the premier MXGP (450 cc) class of the FIM Motocross World Championship Series (MXGP). Evgeny Bobryshev will be joined by Gautier Paulin, who ranked eighth in the MXGP in the 2014 season.
Aiming to win the title in the AMA Supercross, Honda is also reinforcing its team structure starting this season using the technical support of the HRC and the Motorcycle R&D Center of Honda R&D.
Repsol Honda Team will once again compete as the Honda factory team in the Trial World Championship Series (WCT). Three riders will compete in the WCT: Toni Bou, the champion for eight years running; Takahisa Fujinami, the only Japanese rider in the WCT; and Jaime Busto, the WCT World Cup Class champion. The Honda team is aiming to win the riders’ championship for the ninth year running and the manufacturers’ championship for the 10th year running.
