Suzuki Motor Corporation announced its overview of exhibits for the 45th Tokyo Motor Show 2017 to be held from October 27 to November 5 (general admission from October 28) at Tokyo Big Sight.
Based on the theme of “EXCITEMENT for Everyone, in Everywhere,” Suzuki, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020, will be featuring a booth that showcases its product and technology development toward the next 100 years.
Suzuki’s lineup includes the unveiling of its e-SURVIVOR compact SUV concept featuring an independent four-wheel-drive system with independent wheel motors. The e-SURVIVOR offers the possibilities of electric four-wheel-drive while maintaining the traditional driving performance of a Suzuki SUV achieved through its ladder frame and lightweight and compact body.
Suzuki will also be showcasing its Spacia Concept, a newly designed tall miniwagon offering a sense of fun and excitement; XBEE, a new compact crossover wagon that combines the spacious interior of a wagon with the performance of an SUV; and the Carry Open-Air Market Concept, a mini truck designed for use in open-air markets. Suzuki’s lineup will feature a total of 20 vehicles including production models.
As for motorcycles, a total of nine models will be showcased including the SV650X, a neo-retro model with traditional styling, and the SWISH, a standard scooter offering elegance that even appeals to seasoned riders.
Moreover, Suzuki will also introduce its Suzuki Safety Support technology featuring automatic brakes and false start prevention function, and exhibit technologies for the future geared toward safety, security and automation.
