Yamaha to release new colors for 2017 version of MT-03 and MT-25

Yamaha Motor Company has established new colors for its MT-03 and MT-25 motorcycles equipped with lightweight and compact liquid cooled DOHC inline two-cylinder engines. These 2017 models will be released on December 15.

The MT-03 and MT-25 were developed based on the concept of “street cheetah,” and released in October 2015. They have been gaining popularity for their sharp and dynamic styling exemplary of the MT series as well as their agile ride.

The three new colors for the 2017 models are Deep Purplish Blue Metallic C (Blue), which offers a MotoGP flavor; Silver 8 (Silver), which resembles sports apparel; and Black Metallic X (Black), which combines an aggressive and sophisticated feel. Moreover, the MT logo for the Black Metallic X features reflective graphics that appear differently depending on night and day.

The MT-03 is priced at 556,200 yen and the MT-25 at 523,800 yen. Yamaha’s domestic sales target for both models combined is 2,500 units annually. They will be assembled at Yamaha’s plant in Indonesia.
