Kawasaki designing AI motorcycle that grasps rider’s feelings

On August 25, Kawasaki revealed that it is working on developing a next-gen motorcycle with ICT technology including artificial intelligence that has a personality that grows and changes with the rider.

This motorcycle offers a new kind of riding experience. It uses what Kawasaki calls the Feeling Engine / Natural Speech System, which allows the motorcycle to understand the rider’s thoughts and feelings through his or her words using AI.

The system also offers advice and information to the rider to help them enjoy their ride in a safe and efficient way based on a massive amount of accumulated data from the internet and proprietary sensors regarding driving performance and position. Through this advanced AI technology, the rider can gain experience and improve their skill in a real riding environment.
