Kawasaki Heavy Industries announced that it won the Invention Award for the high performance sports bike Ninja H2R’s design at the 2016 All Japan Invention Awards. The Awards are held by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation.
The Al Japan Invention Awards were founded in 1919 by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation with the aim of recognizing improvements in scientific technology and industrial development in Japan. It recognizes excellence in the countries many achievements in inventions, new ideas and design.
The Ninja H2R is the first mass market bike to have a layout that offers high efficiency ram duct that needs a supercharged engine. It manages to offer a safe riding performance, engine waste heat recovery and rider protection all while achieving over 300km/h. The model received high acclaim for its design which offers safe riding at high speeds.
