Honda delivers first RC213V-S superbike to customer in the UK

On December 21, the first-ever Honda RC213V-S was delivered to a customer in the UK. The Honda RC213V-S is the road-version of the RC213V MotoGP racer.

The RC213V-S, Honda’s fastest motorcycle, was launched on June 11 in Japan at a price of 21,900,000 yen.

The RC213V for the MotoGP consists solely of components, which meet the requirements for the rider, course, and winning races. For the RC213V-S, Honda underwent the minimum changes necessary to modify the RC213V for use on public roads.

Its 999cc liquid-cooled four-stroke DOHC 4-valve V4 engine has been detuned for street use, resulting in 70ps of maximum output, 8.8kgm of maximum torque, and 170kg of dry weight.

“I vowed to get my hands on it once I found out about this project. This is truly a great moment,” said Mr. John Brown, the first-ever owner of the RC213V-S.
