Yamaha to release 2016 YZ series including new two-stroke YZ250X enduro

On August 20, Yamaha Motor Company will release their 2016 YZ series off-road competition models.

Yamaha has established additional power on its four-stroke YZ450F and YZ250F models with new features for its engine and body. In addition, the YZ250F comes available in Yamaha’s 60th anniversary commemorative colors of yellow with speed block decals resembling North America’s AMA motocross in the 1970s.

The two-stroke engine equipped YZ250, YZ125, YZ85LW, and YZ85 models all come with new graphics. Moreover, Yamaha will be releasing its new two-stroke YZ250X enduro model.

As for the prices, the YZ450F goes for ¥896,400, the YZ250F for ¥745,200, the YZ250F 60th anniversary version for ¥756,000, the YZ250 for ¥695,520, the YZ250X for ¥706,320, the YZ125 for ¥594,000, the YZ85LW for ¥367,200, and the YZ85 for ¥356,400.

The 2016 YZ series will be available for a limited time from June 5 to November 10 at Yamaha Off-road dealerships through advanced orders. (YZ250F 60th anniversary model available from June 5 to late July)
