Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will celebrate the three-dimensional trademark registration of the Super Cub. They will produce the Little Cub Special that uses a special color in a limited edition release on February 13.
The three-dimensional trademark is a system where the three-dimensional body that identifies it as the product of one’s own or another company is protected by the trademark law. The Super Cub inherited a consistent design concept while achieving a functional improvement since its birth in 1958. This motorcycle was approved through the examination of the Patent Office, and it can be identified as a Honda product just by looking at the design alone. Later, it was registered with a three-dimensional trademark in June 2014.
The Little Cub Special uses a vivid pearl, coral reef blue as its body color. The exclusive design that commemorates the three-dimensional trademark registration is displayed in the front emblem and side cover. In addition, the seat epithelium has a more stylish image due to its red and white tone colors.
The order period is from February 12 until March 29. Its price is 237,600 yen.
