Honda displayed the Goldwing SE full-sized motorcycle at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon, which was held from January 9 to 11.
The Goldwing is the pinnacle of Honda’s touring motorcycles and the Goldwing SE is a special edition model built to commemorate its first model, the GL1000. Along with its two-tone design of red and black, it’s equipped with a commemorative emblem for the front, rear and cockpit; red stitching on the seat; and a commemorative ignition key.
The current model in the series, the GL1800, uses an 1800cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine for all Japanese and overseas models. It can put out 109ps/5500rpm with 16.4kgm/4000rpm maximum torque. It has 6-speed return transmission and electric back gears.
The Goldwing SE is equipped with front and rear ABS brakes, airbag and electro-hydraulic suspension. It’s packed with comfort features that would put a car to shame including navigation, audio system, grip and seat heater, and cruise control.
