Toyota Gazoo Racing will hold an exhibit at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon custom car event from January 13 to 15 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
With this year’s theme of “Open Pit – Open Garage,” it will introduce various machines born out of its motor sports racing. With a corner showcasing the excitement of diving through customization, the exhibit aims to present some of what Toyota Gazoo Racing is doing.
The booth will present new TGC Concept cars based on the Vitz and Aqua and show for the first time in Japan the Yaris WRC that will compete in the World Rally Championship from January 20, 2017. It will also show a custom car for the new C-HR SUV, NÃ¼rburgring racers, and historic WRC racers.
Toyota Gazoo Racing is also presenting a special booth in another area. It will showcase the beauty of customization by presenting various C-HR models dressed up with parts from TRD, Toyota Modellista and Toyota OEM.
It plans to also offer the world’s first look at the latest RC F-based GT3 car at its Lexus Gazoo Racing Booth.
