2016 Car Of The Year: Small Mobility category award goes to Daihatsu Move Canbus

On December 9, the Daihatsu Move Canbus won for the Small Mobility category in the 2016-2017 Japan Car Of The Year awards. The comment on the official JCOTY website praised it as, “Offering a new image for the kei wagon.”

It offers this new image by being a semi-tall wagon with a sliding door. Furthermore, the judges praised the model for the design and coloring both inside and out that give it a unique and highly attractive look. “The level of the driving performance is also satisfying,” the comments said. The Car Of The Year winner was the Subaru Impreza and the Audi A4 series won for best import car.
