A video has been released on the internet of the Subaru Impreza which set a new record at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb in the UK in June.
The Impreza received full tuning by the UK’s Roger Clark Motorsports. It is based on the 2008 5-door hatchback WRX STI. It has a 2.0L horizontally-opposed 4-cylinder engine and gets 780hp and 80.1kgm of torque.
This machine set a new record for the 1.8km hill climb course’s Time Attack with a time of 46.29 seconds, surpassing the previous 47.07 second record set by a circuit-model McLaren P1 LM. The video of the Impreza setting the new record can be seen at the site below.
