The 11th Kawasaki Raku Daishi Festival was held in the outskirts of Kawasaki Daishi in Kawasaki, Kanagawa from April 18 to 19. The classic car parade was held on April 19.
The festival in Kawasaki Daishi Temple was held to service the Daishi Shopping District, the local town council, local businesses and schools. Many people came to see the Yosakoi, the live performances of musicians, and the cosplay event.
The 40 cars exhibited by Historic Car Club 95, a club active in Yokohama, stood out. In addition to supercars like Lotus Europa, Lancia Stratos, and Ferrari 348, other exhibits included elegant old cars such as Ford Anglia and Mini Marcos, and domestic cars such as Subaru 360.
There were occasional light rain showers on this day, but the parade was a success. The atmosphere of the festival was heartwarming. Including classic car fans, many visitors came. The owners were asked several questions, such as the type of classic car they have.
