Toyota unveils FT-AC to offer more adventure for outdoor enthusiasts

On November 30, Toyota Motor Corporation revealed its Future Toyota Adventure Concept (FT-AC) compact SUV at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The FT-AC is a design experiment targeted at active lifestyles, particularly for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy camping on mountains, river rafting, mountain biking, etc.

The exterior is decorated with LED headlights on its wide front grille as well as on its sides. It also sports wide fenders that rise above the FT-AC’s 20-inch wheels for an SUV-like powerful look. The front/rear skid plates and high ground clearance enable the FT-AC to be driven in all conditions.

On the top is a roof rack that can saddle various necessities for the outdoors. It comes with remote-controlled LED lights that not only aid in driving at night or under bad weather but can also be used as a flash for the infrared cameras on its side mirrors. At the rear, the FT-AC sports a retractable rack for loading mountain bikes. The fog lights can be removed and used as flashlights or attached to mountain bikes.
