On November 28, Infiniti unveiled its all-new QX50 at the preview event of the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The current QX50 is sold in Japan as the Nissan Skyline Crossover. The QX50 revealed this week is its newest model.
The new QX50 features ProPILOT Assist, which automatically controls the acceleration, braking and steering for single-lane driving operation on highways. The QX50 is the second Infiniti model to adopt this technology following the Q50 (the Nissan Skyline, in Japan). ProPILOT Assist helps reduce the stress on drivers of stop-and-go driving and highway cruises.
The all-new QX50 also features a newly developed platform with a front-engine, front-wheel drive layout, which differs significantly from the front-engine, rear-wheel drive-based platform of previous models.
The exterior embodies Infiniti’s latest design language and offers enhanced aerodynamic performance. The interior has been decorated through advanced craftsmanship and incorporates high-quality material. In terms of interior space, the new QX50 ranks atop the compact premium SUV segment.
