Redesigned Mazda6 to be unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show

On November 15, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced it will unveil the redesigned Mazda6 (the Atenza, in Japan) at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, which commences later this month.

The current Mazda6 debuted back in 2012. After five years, Mazda will introduce a completely redesigned model.

The powertrain lineup features the addition of a 2.5-liter direct injection four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, which debuted on the CX-9 crossover SUV. According to MNAO, the torque generated by this turbo engine parallels that of the 4.0-liter V8 engine.

The cabin and exterior have both been redesigned in pursuit of enhanced quality. The newly established high-end grade features Japanese Sen wood on the trim panel and other sections of the interior.
