On November 10, Lexus released its all-new 2018 NX 300h for the European market.
The 2018 model offers Lexus’ latest in-vehicle connectivity and a revamped interior with a head-up display right next to the meter hood as well as repositioned switches on the gauge cluster. The navigation and audio features have been enhanced with a 10.3-inch wide display panel and a new remote touch function.
As for safety features, the new NX 300h comes standardized with Lexus Safety System+, which includes a pre-collision safety system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, intelligent high-beam headlamps, and adaptive high-beam system, which detects the taillights of preceding vehicles or the headlights of oncoming vehicles and adjusts automatically to prevent blinding the other drivers.
The exterior features a sharpened front bumper with a low center of gravity, a newly designed trapezoidal spindle grille, triple-beam led headlamps with ultra-compact LED lighting, new L-shaped taillamps and LED sequential turn signals.
The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engine with a pair of motors to generate total output of 197hp. It also offers fuel economy of 20km/liter (EEA) and CO2 emissions of 116g/km.
