Mazda’s Kai Concept and Vision Coupe debut at Tokyo Motor Show

Mazda Motor Corporation unveiled its Kai Concept and Vision Coupe at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show, which began on October 25.

The Kai Concept is a compact hatchback embodying Mazda’s next-generation technology. It features Mazda’s next-generation SKYACTIV-X gasoline engine, SKYACTIV-Vehicle Architecture structural technology and a more enhanced KODO design. This concept offers refined dynamic performance such as improved performance feel and comfort, along with a quieter ride. The Kai Concept also features powerful and sturdy proportions and a form that is full of vitality through its exquisite stream of glimmer on the sides of its body.

Meanwhile, the Vision Coupe is a model embodying Mazda’s next-generation design vision that pursues the true essence of Japanese beauty. It offers elegant and premium styling through enhancing Mazda’s KODO design. The exterior features a “one-motion” form that’s simple yet provides a sense of speed. As for the interior, while maintaining a sense of speed, it offers spaciousness through its three-dimensional depth and a strong longitudinal axis.
