Toyota Europe debuted their new Land Cruiser Prado on Sept. 12 at the Frankfurt Motor Show ’17, making for a simultaneous world premiere with Japan.
Over the model’s lifespan, this will mark the second major overhaul of the Land Cruiser Prado’s design, with a new grill and LED headlamps and all new tail lights and garnishes on the rear.
As for the interior, both the dashboard and steering wheel have been revamped. In terms of safety features, the Land Cruiser Prado now has the impact avoidance support package, the Toyota Safety Sense system, making for an even safer ride.
The power train for the European model uses the same 2.7 liter 4 cylinder gasoline engine and the 2.8 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine options as the Japanese model, but is also getting a 4.0 liter V6 gasoline engine model as well, bringing it in at 249 hp with 38.8 kgm of torque.
