On August 14, Honda Motor Europe announced that they would be giving the world its first look at their new Honda Jazz at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, set to open September 12.
The new model Jazz is getting a renewal both on the inside and out. The latter sees a whole new design for the front grill and bumper, giving it a fresh new look. LED headlights with daytime running lights are also new features. The rear side of the car also is getting a new bumper, while the interior feels like a definite step up in quality.
The engine for the European model of the Jazz is for the first time ever switching over to the i-Vtec 1.5 liter inline-four engine, which boasts a maximum 130 horse power. A CVT option for the transmission is also available, and in the Europe composite mode fuel economy comes in at 18.5km per liter.
In terms of safety features, the automatic break system, A.K.A. City Brake Active, comes standard on all models of the new Jazz. The car also is getting features such as a forward impact warning function, lane drifting warning function, traffic sign recognition system, as well as the latest in cutting-edge driver support systems, the ADAS.
