On August 1, Daihatsu released its partially updated Move mini car and Move Front Seat Lift mini welfare vehicle.
For this minor upgrade, Daihatsu has equipped these models with its Smart Assist III crash avoidance system with emergency braking for pedestrians. In addition, these mini cars offer enhanced security and safety performance with the installation of a “panorama monitor,” which displays on a navigation screen, full-view images taken from four cameras installed on the vehicles.
Moreover, Daihatsu has also renewed both the exterior and cabin for the Move and Move Custom. The Move features a simple yet elegant exterior through the addition of a metallic front grille and new 14-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Move Custom offers state-of-the-art, stylish designs throughout the vehicle with new multibeam LED headlights (with manual leveling function and LED clearance lights), rear combination lamps with smoked inner lens and newly designed instrument panel garnish. It also provides enhanced convenience through the addition of a slide lever by the luggage space for the rear seating.
With a reduced price for its basic trim, the renewed Daihatsu Move is priced from 1,112,400 yen to 1,749,600 yen.
The Move Front Seat Lift mini welfare vehicle has also undergone some minor changes including the same updates as the Move and Move Custom as well as improvements to its security and safety performance and enhanced stylishness throughout the cabin and exterior.
The Daihatsu Move Front Seat Lift is priced from 1,254,000 yen to 1,604,000 yen.
