On June 12, American Honda announced a revamp of the Honda Fit ahead of the model’s late June debut in Honda’s homeland of Japan.
The revamped Fit has gotten both a new interior and exterior, the outside boasting a new front grill and bumper, giving off a fresh new appearance. LED headlights along with daytime running lights are also new features for the new Fit, and the car’s interior is even more luxurious than before.
In terms of safety features, the car now comes standard with the EX package for the company’s Honda Sensing setup, though this can be upgraded to the LX package for those so inclined. Honda Sensing includes adaptive cruise control, automated braking, lane keep assist, and lane deviation warnings. According to American Honda, out of all those in the sub compact car class price range, the Fit comes with the most advanced driver support system available.
American Honda’s Jeff Conrad commented that “The 2018 model Fit, with its sporty design and additional features gives a new sense of style and refinement to the sub compact car.”
