Volkswagen first showcased the Tiguan SUV at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Now, the premium off-roader is all set to enter the Indian market.
The production of the premium off-roader has already commenced at Volkswagen’s Aurangabad unit. It is expected to be offered with a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Moreover, it will be available in two trim levels- Comfortline and Highline. Details about variant specific features and equipment are scarce however it is likely that the Highline will receive a 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, fancy touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, etc.
The VW Tiguan is expected to launch in the month of May, 2017.
