Volkswagen has launched a new limited edition variant of the Polo GT. It is called the Sport Edition which comes with a host of cosmetic changes albeit for a slightly higher price. The package is available on both petrol and diesel versions of the Polo.
On the outside, the Polo GT Sport Edition gets a two-tone paint job with a blacked out roof special graphics and a black roof spoiler. The car rides on 16-inch Portago alloy wheels and is available in two shades of Flash Red and Candy White.
Inside, the Polo GT Sport Edition gets black leatherette seat covers with GT logo embossed into the headrest. Moreover, the same equipment has been carried over from the standard GT.
With demand for sporty hatchbacks on the rise, VW decided to ingest some sportiness into their flagship Polo GT. Power is derived from the same 1.2-liter turbo petrol with 105hp mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The Polo GT TDI is powered by a 1.5-liter diesel with 110hp and a 5-speed manual.
