On April 19, Honda Motor Company unveiled its CR-V Hybrid at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show in China.
Though the CR-V has been a popular-selling model throughout the world including North America and Korea, this is the first hybrid model for the CR-V line.
The hybrid powertrain is Honda’s latest Sport Hybrid i-MMD system that combines a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine with dual electric motors.
It also comes with lithium-ion batteries and offers smooth shifting between three driving modes: electric, hybrid, and engine.
