Hyundai has launched the facelifted Xcent compact sedan. The 2017 update comes with refreshed styling and new features.
The new Xcent gets an all-new front end with Hyundai’s signature grille dressed in chrome and new bumper design with integrated fog lamps. High-end variants gets LED daytime running lights as well.
The rear end of the Xcent has also been given a thorough makeover. This includes large wraparound tail lights and a revised boot along with a redesigned rear bumper.
Inside, the Xcent now features a 7-inch touchscreen interface. Integrated into the system is a rear-view camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link and features like navigation and voice recognition. Mid-range models get a smaller 5-inch touchscreen.
The 2017 Xcent facelift is available with an 83hp 1.2-liter petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. A revised diesel has been introduced this time around. The new 1.2-liter diesel makes 75hp is can be had with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 2017 Hyundai Xcent is priced at Rs 5.38 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 6.28 lakh for the diesel.
