Fiat India has launched a new base variant of the Punto EVO. The Fiat Punto EVO Pure is the new entry-level model in the range and also the cheapest in their portfolio.
The Punto EVO Pure replaces the Punto Pure. It is available with a 1.2-liter petrol engine rated at 68hp at 6000rpm while peak torque of 96Nm is available at 2500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Unlike most of the cars in its range, Fiat has stuck with a hydraulic steering setup on the Punto Evo Pure.
The new base model is slightly expensive than the model it replaces. Prices for the Punto EVO Pure start at Rs 4.92 lakh. That’s about Rs 26,000 more than the previous offering.
