The Ford EcoSport is due for a refresh. The India-bound Ford EcoSport facelift will be showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 24.
The mid-cycle refresh of the EcoSport brings updated styling comprising of a redesigned grille. The new grille with its chrome embellishments looks rather imposing. The new headlight design takes cues from rest of the Ford range. The interior however remains mostly unchanged.
The Ford EcoSport is available with three engine options- The 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine makes around 100hp and 205Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter petrol engine produces 111hp and generates 140Nm of torque. The most powerful engine though is the 1.0-liter EcoBoost. This turbocharged petrol engine pumps out 123hp and meaty 170Nm of torque.
The existing range of engines will be available on the facelift model as well. Finally, expect the new Ford EcoSport facelift to arrive at our shores by the end of 2017.
