Finally after debuting at the Geneva International Motor Show, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante has been launched in India. The Huracán Performante, which is being termed as the most powerful car in the Lamborghini line-up till date, is known for its high-powered engine which was able to break the Nürburgring production car lap record.
With a powerful 5.2-litre V10 engine performing at 640hp and 600Nm of torque, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante is an impressive beast. It also features a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission system supported with Haldex four wheel drive. Exterior layout of the vehicle consists of 20-inch alloy wheels with the high-end Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres. Moreover, the Huracán Performante is 40kg lighter than standard model of the same variant due to its carbon fibre body. A record-breaking speed of 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds, it has achieved a top speed of 325km/h.
Reports suggest that the vehicle’s layout is inspired by the Lamborghini Trofeo racer, but the new model does have a high-tech active aerodynamic system, thanks to the futuristic spoiler it possesses. This helps the car literally glide over the surface, thus achieving its speed. The Indian-variant has been set at Rs 3.97 crores.
