The Huracan Performante was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show. Now, the high-performance supercar has been launched in India, and it costs Rs 3.97 crore.
The Huracan Performante is based on the all-wheel drive Huracan. It’s more powerful than the standard version and is lighter than before, thanks to the use of novel materials like carbon fiber and aluminum.
The 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine pumps out 640hp and 600Nm of peak torque. That’s 30hp more than what you get in an LP610-4. Torque is also up by 40Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a Haldex permanent four-wheel drive system. The Huracan Performante will accelerate from 0-100 kph in 2.9 sec and has a top speed of 325km/h.
Lamborghini took the world by storm when it announced their record setting Nurburgring lap time. Active aerodynamics played a big role when it came to conquering the “Green Hell”. The Performante makes use of vents and air channels around its body to slip through air effortlessly. The fixed rear wing on the car can also be stalled at high speeds, reducing drag.
Indians with deep pockets can now place their orders for a Huracan Performante through their nearest Lamborghini dealership.
