German luxury automaker, BMW revealed that two new SUVs will be added for the globally popular X series.
This announcement was made on March 21 at the BMW Group’s annual press conference in Germany. “The X2 and X7 will be launched in 2018,” said BMW CEO Harald Krüger.
The X2, the production model for the Concept X2, will be positioned in between the X3 and the X1. This compact SUV will be established to target young consumers.
Meanwhile, the X7 is a full-size SUV that will become the flagship model for the X series. It will rival models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
Moreover, Krüger also stated that the all-new X3 will be launched by the end of this year. With the introduction of these three models, BMW has rapidly expanded its SUV lineup.
