Audi has introduced a new petrol variant of the popular Q3 SUV in India. The Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI is the first Audi SUV to be offered with a petrol engine and is priced at Rs 32.20 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The Audi Q3 gets a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 6-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission. This is the same setup found on the new A4 sedan. Unlike the diesel version, the new Q3 petrol does not get Quattro all-wheel drive. Instead, the new Q3 1.4 TFSI sends its power to the road via the front wheels.
While you still get the same list of equipment as the diesel version there are minor styling changes on the interior. 17-inch alloy wheels are standard and so are the panoramic sun-roof, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and Audi’s signature LED headlights.
The price of the Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI undercuts its main rival, the Mercedes-Benz GLA200. With the kind of features on offer, it also seems like good value.
