Lamborghini’s Huracan Performante is ready to make an appearance in the Indian automotive market on April 7, 2017. With its recent revelation at the Geneva Motor Show, the Performante is the latest variant of the Lamborghini Huracan series. Moreover, the car is noted to be the most powerful mid-engined supercar.
The Lamborghini Huracan Performante features a 5.2-litre V10 engine that offers a power of 640hp running a 600Nm torque. This is 30hp and 40Nm above the AWD coupe ‘s standard variant. Additionally, the Italian supercar is reportedly noted to feature a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission accompanied with a permanent four-wheel-drive system by Haldex.
Looking at the exterior, which resembles the Lamborghini Super Trofeo racer, the automaker has tweaked its bumpers at the front and the rear. A bigger spoiler is also added to increase the downforce.
Other than that, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante also offers a new composite material made of carbon fiber, which is ultra lightweight. Lamborghini has patented the new material for its supercars. This has been aimed to improve the aerodynamics of the car. Lamborghini’s new beast also offers 20-inch alloy wheels, which are developed by Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.
The car rides on 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.
