Audi Confirms Q4 SUV for a Launch in 2019

The recent annual conference by Audi had some great news for Audi lovers. With the unveil of the Audi Q4 SUV car for the year 2019, the conference was certainly met with an exciting environment. Moreover, the automaker discussed the upcoming electric car Q6 and the plush car Q8.

The new Audi Q4 SUV, which is a part of the new LED-styled concept SUVs, is reported to compete with the new Range Rover Evoque, the Mercedes GLA, and the BMW X2. Audi is going to keep the upcoming car on similar MQB as the Q3. According to the carmaker, the new Q4 SUV will have a length of at least 4,500mm which is said to be 110mm more than Q3.

The Audi Q4’s design was initially unveiled by the company as a concept car which is 2014 TT Offroad. Updates on its design include a liftback tailgate and an extremely curved roofline. Looking at the interiors of the Audi Q4 SUV, there is certainly going to be an impressive number of features privileges of Audi’s own R&Ds as well as parent company Volkswagen’s help in bringing out the new generation MQB concept cars.

A more detailed insight on the interior features include gesture control functions, smart connectivity, wireless inductive charging for smartphones, a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and full-HD instrument displays. Audi Q4 SUV’s engine comprises of the latest generation four-cylinder diesel and petrol units with a common 1.5-litre capacity. These are further included with an updated variant of the present 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine models for diesel and petrol. In addition, there will be a new 2.5-litre model with five-cylinder petrol engine that offers 406hp.

Last but not the least, the new Audi Q4 SUV will also offer a plug-in petrol-cum-electric Q4 e-tron variant that will offer an electric only range of 50 km.
