The Ferrari 812 Superfast is the improved extreme version of the F12berlinetta with a V12 naturally aspirated gasoline engine that goes from the F12berlinetta’s 6.3 to 6.5 liters, giving it an output of 800ps/8,500rpm with torque of 73.2kgm/7,000rpm.
It is the first Ferrari with electric power steering. The EPS is designed for sports driving was born out of Ferrari’s unique uncompromising approach to engineering. All of the model’s electronic control systems are integrated including the EPS and the latest 5.0 version of Ferrari’s patented Side Slip Control (SSC).
This model is also the first to have the 2.0 Virtual Short Wheelbase system (PCV) as part of its steering control system. Ferrari says the PCV system, which has improved software based on experience accumulated with the F12berlinetta F12tdf high performance model, offers shorter response time and even more agile handling.
