BMW Group to release autonomous driving “iNEXT” in 2021

It has come to light that the BMW Group plans to release an autonomous driving car in 2021.

The news was revealed at a BMW Group 2016 financial meeting in Munich, Germany. It announced, “In 2021, we plan to release the i NEXT, which is the pinnacle of the BMW Group’s new technology.”

In 2016, the BMW Group unveiled its VISION NEXT 100 concept car to commemorate 100 years since its founding. The VISION NEXT 100 is a model that shows the company’s vision for the future of mobility. This concept car will be released in 2021 as the iNEXT.

BMW Group CEO Harald Krüger said, “The iNEXT will embody the future of mobility, setting new standards for automated driving, electric mobility, connectivity and design alike.”
