The Bugatti Chiron, the French ultra high end ride said to cost $2.5 million USD. At the Geneva International Motor Show 2017, the car got a new color, “Royal Blue.”
The Bugatti Chiron is a successor to the Veyron that premiered at the same show last year. The an 8 liter, W16 engine with a 4 turbo scheme, the car generates an astounding 1,500hp. Getting 0-100km/h in just 2.5 seconds, the car maxes out at 420km/h, making it the car with the highest specs in the world.
The royal blue model that premiered at the show is a special optional color. Still, when it comes to this class of super car, each and every model is already heavily customized to be different from its brethren. It’s unlikely anyone will ever see two of this same car in the same color.
Before Geneva Motor Show got kicked off, Bugatti announced that 3 of their first models had been transferred to their new private owners in Europe and the Middle East. The Chiron will only have a total of 500 units made in all, and 250 of them are already bought and paid for. As the cars are basically entirely hand made, a great number of them cannot be produced, and Bugatti says that they will have finished handing over the cars over the next 7 years.
