Italdesign stuns motor show fans with new Zerouno supercar

On March 7, Italdesign announced the name of its new super car and unveiled an actual model at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show. The new super car is called the “Zerouno.”

The Zerouno is the first model for the newly established Italdesign Automobili Speciali brand, which produces small runs of mass market cars for the worldwide collectors’ market. It plans to produce only 5 Zerouno models.

The model has a 5.2L V10 naturally aspirated gasoline engine equipped at mid-ship. This is the same powertrain that is used for the Lamborghini Hurakan. Like Italdesign, Lamborghini is owned by the Volkswagen Group. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 330km/h.

The body is all carbon fiber. Italdesign says, “Lightweight was the starting point for the design.”
