On March 2, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the details of the new E Class Cabriolet. It plans to unveil an actual E Class Cabriolet at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland on March 7.
The company is in the process of expanding its E Class lineup. It has already released a new sedan and station wagon. It has also developed a crossover model that offers all-terrain driving performance and, in January, unveiled the new E Class Coupe. The E Class Cabriolet rounds out the lineup, which now offers a total of 5 E Class models.
The new E Class Cabriolet’s base model is the new E Class Coupe. Like the previous model, it is a convertible with a soft top and 4 seats.
The soft top has a multi-layer construction which gives it excellent sound reduction performance. There are 4 colors available; dark brown, dark blue, red and black. All are automatic and take within 20 seconds to open or close.
