2017 Geneva International Motor Show: Renault to premiere “Surprise EV”

It’s been discovered that French auto giant Renault will be giving the world its first look at a new EV at the Geneva International Motor Show this March.

Renault announced this on February 23, claiming that “We’ll be debuting a surprise electric vehicle at the Geneval International Motor Show ’17.”

Renault presently accounts for the largest share of EV sales on the European market, and this new surprise EV is thought to be an embodiment of the company’s momentum in terms of those sales.

At the Paris Motor Show 2016 held in September, the company debuted an EV concept car dubbed the Trezor. The vehicle’s clamshell roof where the bonnet and roof open as one, and was met with high praise at the event, suggesting it may be the direction the company’s heading with their surprise EV.
