On February 16, Italian sports car maker Ferrari revealed a summary of details about the 812 Superfast. It plans to make the world debut of the first real 812 Superfast at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show in March.
The 812 Superfast is the successor model for the F12berlinetta, Ferrari’s luxury coupe with its engine loaded in the front. The 812 Superfast was developed to be the company’s most powerful and fastest V-12 coupe.
The power train is a 6.5L (6,496cc) V-12 naturally aspirated engine that’s mounted in the front mid-ship. It puts out 800ps/8,500rpm with a maximum torque of 73.2kgm/7,000rpm.
The transmission is dual clutch with its own gear ratio. Its dry weight is 1,525kg and its front to back weight distribution is 46:53. The 812 Superfast’s performance is outstanding. It can go from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 340km/h.
