On February 9, Honda announced that it had built a one-off model of its new Acura NSX and that it will exhibit it at a charity auction.
The one-off model is a collaboration between Acura and MusiCares and was built for a music charity event. This is the first time in 5 years that Acura has been designated as an official partner by MusiCares.
The model was customized by Michelle Christensen, who was chief designer of the new NSX’s exterior. The body color is Berlina Black which, depending on how the light hits it, sometimes looks red. Red accents have been added to the Y-spoke’s aluminum wheels and diffuser. The interior uses semi analine full leather.
The audio has been upgraded to a premium audio system by ESL Studio with a 9-speaker 580W system. Acura has released four teaser images ahead of the charity auction.
