On February 14, Italian automaker Pagani Automobili announced its overview of the all-new Huayra Roadster, which will be unveiled next month at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show.
The Huayra Roadster convertible will accompany the current Huayra coupe. With a cargo weight of 1,280kg, the convertible is 70kg lighter than the coupe’s 1,350kg.
The Roadster convertible features two types of roofs. One is a remarkably light carbon fiber hardtop, which can be installed quickly and easily. The other is a fabric top with a carbon cover.
The Roadster convertible inherits the coupe’s high-performance Mercedes-AMG M158 6.0-liter V12 twin turbo engine in mid-ship layout. However, it offers more power than the coupe, with astonishing specs of 764hp/6,200rpm (64hp more than the coupe) and 102kgm/2,400rpm of maximum output and maximum torque, respectively. The transmission is a seven-speed AMT.
