New Nissan Micra: British Price Falls Under £20 Thousand

Nissan Europe has announced the British price of the auto maker’s new Micra.

The new model of the Micra was first shown off to the public in France at the Paris Motor Show 2016 in September. The model shown off serves as the 5th generation of that vehicle and was specifically developed to meet the needs of the world’s largest hatchback market, that being Europe. Starting with the character line of the car’s long body that gives off a very unique impression, the entire car’s design seems to attract attention.

The new model’s body when compared with previous iteratios is lower, wider, and has more interior space. Specs for the new model are: total length: 3,999 mm; total width: 1,743 mm; total height: 1,455 mm; wheel base: 2,525 mm, making it 174 mm longer, 77 mm wider, and 55 mm lower than the current model, with a wheel base extended by 75 mm.

In terms of safety, the Micra comes loaded with features that embody the Nissan Intelligent Mobility approach to vehicle safety, including intelligent emergency brakes, land departure prevention (LDP), as well as other cutting edge technology that one will find on high end luxury vehicles. With a downsized engine and an advanced aerodynamic design, the new Micra provides both efficiency and a responsiveness.

The base price in Britain for the Micra will be £11,995, hitting the under £20 thousand mark. Preorders for the vehicle are already underway, and the car will be released this spring.
