Honda CB1100RS at 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon

2017 Tokyo Auto Salon: Honda displays new RS version of the CB1100

Honda unveiled a new version of the CV1100 sports bike called the CB1100RS at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon from January 13 to 15. It was unveiled at a closed event for Honda riders. This is the first time Honda has unveiled a model this way.

The CB1100 is a sports model that is unusual for its air-cooled 4-cyliner engine. With its metal parts polished down the finest details, it’s designed with a style that represents the best in Japanese motorcycles.

The new CB1100RS Honda brought out for the Auto Salon made its world debut at last year’s Intermot (International Motorcycle, Scooter and E-Bike Fair) in Germany in October.

It uses the Flangeless Fuel Tank, which has a solid feel and looks almost handmade. To give it a sportier look than the CB1100EX, which was released at the same time, it has 17-inch aluminum cast iron wheels, a 2-piece bottom case front fork, radial mount brake calipers, and a new aluminum swingarm.

Ideal for both comfortable cruising and sporty riding, the model offers something a little more for the CB1100. The Japan release is being eagerly awaited.
