Dongfeng Honda, a joint venture in China between Honda Motor Company and Dongfeng Motor Corporation, unveiled its all-new Jade at the 2016 Auto Guangzhou, which was held in late November.
Though the Jade was released in Japan in winter 2015, it was launched earlier in 2013 to the Chinese market. Nearly three years since its release, the Jade has undergone its first full makeover in China.
The exterior features a redesigned grille, bumper and headlights at the front. This “facelift†according to Dongfeng Honda, has generated a brand new look for the redesigned Jade.
From a mechanical standpoint, the new Jade for the Chinese market offers CVT transmission and the same 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder Sport Turbo gasoline engine as the RS trim in Japan. According to Dongfeng Honda, it offers greater driving enjoyment and enhanced fuel efficiency.
In addition, the new Jade comes equipped with a panorama roof, 18-inch wheels and loads of other features such as Honda Sensing and Honda Connect.
