Nissan Venucia T90 at 2016 Beijing Motor Show

2016 Auto Guangzhou: Nissan’s Venucia brand to start advanced orders of new SUV

At 2016 Auto Guangzhou in late November, Dongfeng Nissan announced that it would start taking advanced orders for the new T90 SUV for its Venucia brand. Dongfeng Nissan is a joint venture between Nissan Motors and Dongfeng Motor Company.

The T90 made its debut at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show last April. It was a new SUV developed based on the VOW concept car which was presented at the Auto Shanghai 2015.

In addition to its wide and practical interior space, powerful driving performance and multi-functionality, the T90 offers a sporty and stylish exterior and a high level of connectivity technology. It is a new type of SUV designed to meet the needs and lifestyle of young drivers who want to express their own individual personalities.

A special feature of its exterior is the “Window Sculpture” design approach, a unique design approach with hints of the esthetic contrast of wind and stone. The interior aims for a high level of design and spaciousness. Both interior and exterior are designed to appeal to young Chinese drivers who enjoy the connection between people and cars, and like to spend time with friends in a personal space created within the car.

The power train is an MR20 engine with Xtronic CVT designed for high fuel economy and driving performance. It is equipped with a variety of advanced technology features such as Blind Spot Warning, Around View Monitor, Electronic Stability Control, Emergency Stop Signal and Cornering Stability Assist. All are designed to provide a safe driver for both car and passengers.

Advanced connectivity features include the IT-COMMANDER control system and CarLife for smartphone integration, 12.3-inch high resolution touch screen and 5-inch 3D full color display.
